In addition to my coaching, I lead courses for parents-to-be. If you'd like to be kept in touch with my latest courses, the best way is to subscribe to my newsletter - subscribe. Here are the details of my next course:

becoming a mother - life's big change and how to cope with it

As featured in The Times.

If you're expecting a baby, don't miss this unique course for parents-to-be. This course is all about you and how you will handle the emotional challenges of becoming a parent, and it's designed to be the perfect complement to your NCT or NHS classes.

Many of my clients have told me how shocked they were by early motherhood, and how unprepared they felt – even after their antenatal classes - for the reality of life after birth. This course has been devised to put that right.

Being prepared emotionally for becoming a parenr will make the transition to parenthood easier and smoother. Instead of just muddling along, you'll feel confident about the challenges ahead. It may even make the birth easier.

The style of the course is informal and relaxed. There will be lots of exercises and interactive elements and plenty of fun. You’ll be able to ask questions, discuss any anxieties or concerns, and to reflect on your strengths and where you might need support.

The course is available in a one-day format, as well as privately for groups of 4-8 people.

Although much of the content is aimed at expectant mothers, your other half is very welcome, too – he’ll gain a huge amount from thinking about these issues in advance, and you as a couple will benefit from working on the relationships section together.

Early booking is advised to avoid disappointment. For more information, or to book a place on a course, contact me or ring me on 0845 838 6399.

“This course would be a great present for a pregnant daughter or daughter in law. I wish there had been something like it for my generation.”

Jane Fearnley-Whittingstall, author of The Good Granny Guide

"I really, really enjoyed the day and felt that I personally got alot from it, I walked out feeling calmer, and for the first time actually looking forward to having my baby rather than worrying all the time"

Raj Funnell
